Today is my birthday and I am so excited! I just wanted to pop on to say hi and share a little bit about my aspirations for 23.

I’ll be at work all day, which is fine with me (I love my work!!), and grabbing lunch with my lovely cousin in Manhattan on my lunch break, so excited!! Tomorrow I think I am getting dinner with my mama and come the weekend, heading back to Manhattan for a little weekend trip with my boyfriend! I am so excited to be spending my birthday how I want to, and doing very adult, 23, kind of things. (Check back next week, I’ll do a round up of my Soho trip this weekend + pictures and where to go!!)

I don’t know why it took me this long to realize it, but it’s kind of interesting that once it turns a new year, I shortly turn a new year too! I like that I am getting a fresh start for not only 2019, but also for my 23rd birthday and I think it’s going to be a good one!

23 is still so young (thank GOD) and I have a lot of work to do before I feel like a real adult. It’s crazy to think that back in the day, people were getting married and having one or two babies by now…I am SO far from that and SO okay with it! I am focusing on my career, my happiness, my blog, my aspirations and my family, and could not be happier.

I am wishing for a lot today, but mostly to make my dreams a reality which I am so on the road to doing. 23 and 2019 are going to be a great year for me and I cannot wait to celebrate with those that I love dearest.
