Happy New Year, everyone!! I hope you had awesome celebrations last night, I had a couple friends over to hang out at home and we had a blast! Chinese food, Sangria, games and of course, the New Year’s show! Not only is a night in fun, but it’s also safer and cheaper…so yay!
I wanted to take this time to reflect on 2018 and lay out some of my plans for 2019. This was an awesome year, but it went by sooo fast! When I look back at my year I would definitely have to say my biggest accomplishment was graduating college in May. This year was full of ups and downs, and the biggest thing I learned was to go with the flow.
If you were to ask me last December where I see myself at the end of 2018, I would probably have said something completely different than where I am currently at. However, I am learning to be okay with it and growing from here. I am in a place right now that allows me to be very open to any path that comes my way, and that scares me a lot. Where I am at with my career is not where I would have like to be, but I have had some great experiences and starts with my career, and I know I am going to do great things in 2019. I have the most supportive group of family and friends, and would not be able to chase my dreams without their help and guidance.
As for my blog, I grew quite a lot this past year! In February, I had my FIRST ever partnership with a brand, and that was huge for me. I worked with Dawn Levy New York, HFX Performance, did campaigns with Influenster and Brandbacker and towards the end of the year, started working with Charlotte Russe and Anne Koplik Designs. I reached my goal of 1,000 Instagram followers and made some friends through Instagram and blogging! It’s been quite a ride in that department, and I couldn’t be more excited for the future. I have some blog goals for 2019, but for now I am keeping them to myself.

I can’t wait to start living my healthier lifestyle, look at my phone WAY less, blog more and hopefully land another job that will get me closer to my dreams. Everyone loves a fresh start, and I am no exception.
Let’s get to the AMAZING outfit in the photo, courtesy of Charlotte Russe!! They sent me over this awesome party dress that I absolutely love. It’s fully sequined and has an array of colors, so you know it will go with any look. I paired it with the fabulous black strappy sandals they sent over, and it made for a polished look. Below I have linked very similar holiday dresses from Charlotte Rusee that if you love the one I am in, you’ll love these ones too!!
